Our Mission

The Hawai'i Academy of Science (HAS) is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1925.  The vision of the Academy is to promote scientific research & education in Hawai'i and the Pacific Rim.  The Academy is particularly interested in developing and executing programs and experiences for the science and learning communities.
 

Our Projects

Our projects include the Hawai'i State Science and Engineering Fair (HSSEF), The Hawaii and Pacific Junior Science & Humanities Symposium (Hawaii JSHS), Science Cafe and the support of Statewide STEM Programs.
